CCI/Ukraine Members
CCI/Ukraine is an interdenominational association of 169 members - church-based Christian camps (116), conference centers (16), camping organizations (3) and individuals (34). Besides, there are 31 CCI member camps in the areas of CCI/Ukraine's responsibility outside of Ukraine.
CCI/Ukraine camps have three goals: (1) to lead non-believers into a personal salvation experience; (2) to disciple young Christians, inspiring them to embrace Biblical principles, live morally pure lives and become ambassadors of Jesus Christ; (3) to build the church of Jesus Christ.
Most camps operate two to three 12-day sessions of overnight camp each summer with an average of 200 campers per summer. The major types of camps are: resident camps, tent camps, day camps, travel camps and winter camps. Each church has its own guidelins for choosing or inviting campers, but they typically strive for 40% to 50% campers from church-going families and 50% to 60% campers from families that do not attend church.
